Peri-SCN area dopaminergic lesion induced increases in blood pressure and heart rate. Animals received an infusion of 6-OHDA (2–4 μg/side) at the peri-SCN area bilaterally. The systolic and diastolic blood pressures (a), and heart rate (b) were measured in rats at 16 weeks after 6-OHDA lesion (n = 14) or sham lesion (n = 8) to the peri-SCN area.
