The levels of 8-OHdG or Ox-LDL (y axis) were correlated with those of HbA1c (x axis). An association was observed between HbA1c in diabetic patients with positive H. pylori and 8-OHdG (r = 0.39, p = 0.02). No association was observed between HbA1c in non-diabetic and diabetic patients with positive H. pylori and Ox-LDL.
