  1. SAT, subcutanous adipose tissue, VAT, visceral adipose tissue, kITT, glucose disappearance constant obtained in the intravenous insulin tolerance test. Data from plasma cholesterol, glucose and insulin concentration and kITT were obtained from mice subjected to 4-hour food deprivation.
