  1. Insulin dependent diabetes was induced by administering a single intraperitoneal injection of alloxan monohydrate at a dose of 150 mg/kg to CD-1 mice. Measurements for fasting blood triglyceride were taken at pre-induction, week-0 (baseline), week-2 and week-4 after treatment. Data are expressed as mean ± SD. *P ≤ 0.05.
