Ten week changes are denoted by * (p < 0.05). A difference between exercise groups is denoted by # (p < 0.008). B) Percentage change in the HbA1c levels from pre-intervention to post-intervention was greater in the resistance exercise group compared to the treadmill exercise group (*, p < 0.01).
