Immunohistochemistry for Ki67 in renal tissue from STZ (a), Sho (b), STZ + Sho 5 mg/kg (c), and STZ + Sho 10 mg/kg (d) mice for 2 weeks. Serial sections from each mouse kidney were stained using a noncommercial anti-ki67 antibody. Ki67 labeling was associated with the cellular proliferation. Furthermore it is associated with ribosomal RNA transcription. These pictures are representatives of typical samples obtained from four animals from each experimental group
