From: Fibronectin glycation increases IGF-I induced proliferation of human aortic smooth muscle cells
Western blot analysis of IGF-IR in smooth muscle cells inoculated on fibronectin (FN) and on AGE-modified FN (AGE-FN). Lysates of cells grown in medium supplemented with 10% FCS until sub-confluence and synchronized by serum starvation for 24-h were analysed using antibody 1.2, a monoclonal antibody to the C-terminus of the IGF-IR.
